The problem

  • In 2018 the organization rebranded and wanted to release a special online publication detailing its evolution over the previous five years.
  • The timeline was short, so a relatively simple solution was needed.

The solution

  • Since the content would be static, I thought a full content management system would be overkill.
  • I built a single-page website on Bootstrap, hosted it in-house by IT. (The site has since been removed from its original location, progress.englewoodhealth.org, in preparation for the 2023 report, but find an unlisted backup here.)
  • The site took advantage of several Bootstrap bells and whistles, including scrollspy and modal windows for additional content, plus some other nifty stuff like automated scroll and parallax images.
