About Me

I’m an experienced graphic designer and web designer/developer who’s happiest when absorbed in a dev project (I may or may not forget to eat!). I began my career in 2002 as a print and branding designer who dabbled in HTML, but have grown steadily over the years, first as a web designer and then as a developer. Over the past five years, I’ve loved adding this layer (how things work) to a career that had mostly centered on how things look.

I approach my projects with a focus on meaning rather than embellishment, structure over ornamentation. This philosophy has served me well as a designer, and it leads me to craft elegant, efficient code that I’m proud of too.

I speak WordPress fluently, and love to build on Bootstrap or Tailwind, but am happy to hand-code from scratch too. I’m all about process and love spreadsheets, targets, and organization. I sweat the details.
